BDM sweep, taking the first game 5-2 in the 12th, a close one in the second by 6-5, and then riding a late burst of runs in the 3rd to a sweep.

Please use lineups #2 and #3 against RHP and LHP respectively.  Ignore lineup 1, as that assumes the availability of the injured Grisham and France.

Wichita gets its second home sweep in a row, which is amazing considering the Canons' hot start and the poor home form shown by the Wind in 2021.  It helps to have Urias and Cole pitching, and then, despite the bullpen blowing yet another in game three, getting the unlikely walkoff from Jesus Sanchez in the third game.  MP ready to go, Mr. Austin!

The NRIs took 2 of 3 at the Heroes,  this was played by Charles, he sent the results to me, but he did not post the results to the board.

In game four at Portland the Heroes took a 4-1 lead in to the bottom of the 9th.  Stallings lead off the inning and was hit by Steckenrider.  The next two batters struck out, Devers doubled, Posey was hit by a pitch and the Schwindell doubled to tie the score.  In the bottom of the 10th Steckenrider hit Taylor who charged the mound.  In the ensuing melee, the NRI's Gilbreath was hurt for 40 games.  Finally in the bottom of the 13th Brandon Lowe homered to win the game for the NRIs.

In game five Mark Minor was hurt after pitching to one batter, but the NRIs won 8-0 in a bullpen game where the Fleming, the scheduled game six starter pitched 4 1/3 innings to get the save.  In game six,  Mark Minor came back to pitch eight innings to lead the NRIs to a 5-0 victory.

The NRIs were very fortunate,, at least in the tail end of this series as the Heroes, with a very capable lineup just did not hit against Minor and Fleming, a pair of decent, but not great starters.

Three very tight, low scoring games, but the UCity bullpen combined for 13 scoreless innings and the home squad sweeps.  Game 4 - Two Sal Perez homers has Escondido ahead 3-2 going into the 8th, but some sketchy defense allows the Anunnaki to score 2 runs without a hit for a 4-3 win.  Game 5 (which may still be going on) - 2 homers in the first for the Evil Empire, but UCity rallys to tie it in the fourth.  Both offenses then pack in it for a while.  Finally a sac fly by Reynolds in the bottom of the 15th ends it.  Game 6 - A 2-1 game into the 8th before an understandably tired EEE pen allows a couple runs and the Annunaki take it 4-1.  No injuries.

MP ready for series vs Halifax.  Please activate Correa prior to the second game of the series and farm Mercer.  Use the preset lineups as listed.  SP should be Rogers, Duffy, Lauer.  Thanks!

The series opened with Cease (1-0) out-dueling Stroman (0-3) in a 7-3 Hose victory.  Game 2 saw Gonzalez (2-0) lead the Hose to a 5-1 win.  Hernandez (2-1) and Rogers combined for a 2-0 shutout as the Hose surprisingly swept swept the Whitecaps in Halifax.  After a travel day allowing the teams to get to Maine, the Pale Hoser got to Wainwright (1-2) early and often as Lopez (1-0) enjoyed the run support in a 9-4 win.  The Whitecaps stormed back in game 5 behind Story's 4 RBI as Milet (1-0) blew out Rodon (1-1) in an easy 8-2 Whitecap win. [Funkhouser was injured for this game and 10 more days.]  In the finale Cease (2-0) and McFarland combined for a 3-0 shiut over the luckless Stromam (0-4).

Pale Hose MP is ready for series 4 vs the Rockets ...

Rotisserie takes two of three. Drop the middle game 4-2 with Quintana on the mound. Had to shut out Ogden Dunes to win, going 1-0 in the first game and 4-0 in the last, as Gausman improves his already stellar start to the season. Watching Quintana pitch though make me realize I should put more value into the back end of my rotation. He's gonna lose a lot of games.
