entertaining but bad baseball by bad teams. Chanute makes 4 errors but schmitt homers twice to win Game 1 in 10; brockton builds a 7-1 lead in Game 2 on two correa homers but blows it with the help of two errors, then wins in 12 on a Gonzalez slam; Chanute takes first half of the series as schwellenbach throws a 4-hitter over 7.2 in Game 3

BDM knocks Max Fried around for eight runs in the opener, but the NRIs rally to tie it and then win it 9-8 in twelve.  The NRIs cruise to a 6-0 victory in game two.  In the finale, the NRIs were up 6-0 early and hold on to win 6-4 as Luis Ortiz strikes out Byron Buxton with the bases loaded in the ninth.

brockton rebounds to earn a split, yoshida's 4 hits keying a Game 1 win and Framber going 8 and herrin pitching out of trouble in the finale. Rizzo beats out a potential DP to knock in the winner for Chanute as they score 2 in the 8th in Game 2
