brockton wins the first two with some stellar bullpen work (6.2 2-hit shutout innings) before rocket wins the finale after soriano is injured in the first inning. witt homered in each of the first 2 games and knocked in 6 in Game 3 to back gilbert, who tossed a 2-hitter. Arthur, Brockton will need an emergency transaction since its down to 4 starting pitchers -- valdez was hurt in the first half of the series and soriano is out until about 2027.
