2024 Series 02 - Greg Tamer - 05-22-2025
TRHL Owners,
Series 01 has been completed. League file attached.
NOTE - Injuries for some reason were turned OFF for the first series. I don't know why that setting was changed. It is now back to using player ratings. Ah, I remember now, injuries are turned off for the postseason. So I need to remember to enable it in the offseasons!
NOTE - I neglected to change all catchers' injury ratings that are Very Prone and Prone to Normal. I just did this.
NOTE - Team Alfa and Team Bravo are ownerless. You can play all six games if one is your opponent.
Rules to remember:
1. Yes DH in NL (and of course the AL).
2. Three-batter minimum rule (or end of inning) for RP.
3. Four teams from each league advance to postseason.
4. 26-man active rosters.
5. Yes to no-pitch IBB.
6. Using replacement-level system in September.
7. 10-day IL.

Brockton's woes continue as the NRIs sweep. The games were mostly close and included a 14 inning 4-3 win in the opener and a 2-1 victory in the finale.
For the NRIs at Brockton, let the computer manager pick the computer manager pick the starting pitchers. Please use the following lineups:
Kelly - 2, but sub Marchan for Contreras
Valdez - 1
Eflin - 4

Game 1 - UCity scores 3 in the 4th on 1 hit, and Blackmon hits a homer the next inning. That turns out to be more than enough for Pepiot, as he goes 7 and allows only 1 hit. 7-3 home team. Game 2 - Severino and Olson go toe-to-toe as the game heads to the bottom of the 8th tied at 1. Soto gets the game winning homer and the Anunnaki tack on a couple more for a 5-1 win. Game 3 - Soto and O'Hoppe homer in the 1st to give UCity a 4-0 lead, and they are never seriously threatened as they complete the sweep 6-2.

brockton won't go winless, and after losing nine in a row, wins three in a row, thanks primarily to consecutive multi-homer games by Will Smith. Bruce, note woods-richardson was hurt after two batters in final game, and will be out a few days, which might affect his future rotation status.

Here are all 6 for Wagstaffs vs Red Knots. The Knots extended their win streak to 10 games before giving up the lead in the final game in the 8th inning and losing in extras.
Note: The Huxley MP had Arrighetti set to be the first starter in the series, but he had also pitched the previous game, so I took the liberty of moving the MP to the next starter (Lodolo) for game 1.

Siskiyou wins 4 against Bravo. Last game was a gem. 0-0 through 8, with Gausman going 7 for us, and Snell 5 1/3 for Bravo. Bottom of the 9th Carson Kelly singles with one out, and with two outs Tyrone Taylor triples to walk it off (though how does a triple happen? What scenario results in a walk-off triple like that? It's two outs too, so if some wacky shit happens and Taylor is tagged out before Kelly crosses the plate, we're going to extras....).
MP ready for next series.
